Overview of the production
Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s audacious musical follows a baker and his wife on their quest to reverse a curse and have a child. As the couple venture into the unknown their story collides with Cinderella, Jack, Little Red Ridinghood, Rapunzel, Witches, Wolves and Giants.
With an exquisite score and ingenious lyrics, Into The Woods intertwines the Brothers Grimm’s most famous fairy tales and reckons with the realities of ‘happily ever after.’
